5 September 2021, Rajagriha: A successful meeting between the State of Vishwamitra and the member nations of the General Assembly of Thailand Micronations, abbreviated as GATM, took place this afternoon virtually. The meeting has been described very successful by the participating leaders and this was the first meeting of its kind between Vishwamitra and its Thai allies.
The special meeting was originally scheduled to be held in the first week of July but had to be postponed after a senior member of the assembly got infected with the COVID-19 virus and had to be hospitalised. Finally, the meeting took place today after week long of planning between Rashtradhyaksh Dhrubajyoti Roy, King Edward IX of Queensland and Prime Minister Eun Jo of Huai Siao.
The meeting was attended by Rashtradhyaksh Dhrubajyoti Roy, King Edward IX of Queensland, who is also the Lord High General of the Assembly, Prime Minister Prince Eun Jo of Huai Siao who is also the General Secretary of the Assembly, Leader Parrattakorn Zakniyom of Kanazia and Head of State Somdejphachaited Mahakasatmomgkod of Tailanseland. Sovereign Prince Joseph Thanawachiraporn of Christoph Chao City who is still recovering from the virus, was also scheduled to attend the summit but he could not attend it due to last minute engagements, so were for the Prime Minister of New South Canberra.
The meeting began with the participating leaders introducing themselves and their nations, followed by Rashtradhyaksh Dhrubajyoti Roy delivering a specially drafted speech in Thai language. The Lord High General of the Assembly, then introduced all member nations in details, about their history, origin, systems of government, etc. Some pre-decided questions were provided by the members to the Rashtradhyaksh which were answered following the formal introduction. Towards, the end of the meeting, there were some informal discussions.
The Rashtradhyaksh, then through an extraordinary royal decree conferred the Most Excellent Order of the Vishwamitra in the grade of Honorary Knight Grand Cross upon H.E. Parrattakorn Zakniyom, the Head of State of Kanazia.
The Empire of Huai Siao was the first Thai micronation and also the first member-nation of GATM to have established formal relations with Vishwamitra last year on 7 September and the two nations also celebrate the day as "Vishwamitra-Huai Siao Friendship Day" to commemorate the friendship between the two nations. Queensland - which is yet another member nation maintains very close and firm relations with Vishwamitra since the establishment of relations on 15 September last year. Vishwamitra also maintains formal relations with Christoph Chao City, which is yet another member nation of GATM.
