Rashtradhyaksh and Kaleido's president hold bilateral talks

Rashtradhyaksh Dhrubajyoti Roy and president of Kaleido Gat Mahayap held bilateral meetings today, 11 December, more than a year after Vish-Kaleido ties broke down due to issues with the Association of Micronations in the Philippine Islands or AMPI.

Since the re-establishment of relations last 11 August, relations between both nations have been much stronger than ever. On 9 December, the Rashtradhyaksh sent a letter to Gat Mahayap on Kaleido’s 9th anniversary, noting about Kaleido’s contributions to the Philippine micronational community, among other contributions.

The Vishwamitran delegation comprised of Rashtradhyaksh Dhrubajyoti Roy, Prime Minister Farhaz Hazarika, Minister of External and Parliamentary Affairs, Rory McPhail, and Minister of Culture, Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador to the Philippines and Senior Editor of the Purvanchal Times, Jayden Dagsa.

Topics discussed included strengthening of ties between Vishwamitra and Kaleido, the upcoming 15th Vishwamitran National Day in April 2022, and a possible agreement to promote the cultures of both nations.

The meeting has been deemed a success by the Rashtradhyaksh, noting that the sharing of ideas on strengthening relations are a mark to forget past occurences and move ahead joining hands for common causes.
