16 May 2021, Rajagriha: A new territory was annexed by the State of Vishwamitra on 14 May 2021 from Machias located in the United States' state of Maine in a land exchange programme with the Maritime Republic of the Damariscotta.

The territory annexed by Vishwamitra has been named as "Sankewitahasuwakon" and shall be administered as an overseas territory of the nation with the monarch of Vishwamitra as the Sovereign of the territory and an appointed representative of the monarch acting as the de facto head of state and government functioning in the absence of the monarch. The Right Honourable Archie Birch, Baron Birch of Machias was appointed as the inaugural Governor of Sankewitahasuwakon by His Majesty the Rashtradhyaksh and soon was bestowed with the Most Excellent Order of the Vishwamitra as a Knight Grand Cross.
In exchange, Vishwamitra granted the Maritime Republic of the Damariscotta with a small piece of land neighbouring the nation which too shall be governed as an overseas territory by Damariscotta. With the annexation of Sankewitahasuwakon, it is the fourth overseas territory of Vishwamitra and the second within the United States. The treaty of land exchange has been highly important for the relations between the two nations shall be helpful in strengthening the relations.
